Around Cape May Cruise

All aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher for a 2-hour narrated sightseeing cruise around the island of Cape May. See and hear stories about  the Cape May Canal, the Delaware Bay, Cape May Harbor, and the Victorian oceanfront of Cape May. Leave from the Miss Chris Marina.

Cape May Whale & Dolphin Cruise

Take a 3-hour ocean voyage on the 110-foot Cape May Whale Watcher and look for whales and dolphins. Leaves from the Miss Chris Marina in Schellenger's Landing.

Grand Lighthouse Cruise

Come aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher to view and photograph historic lighthouses of the late 19th and early part of the 20th centuries. Most of these lighthouses stand on pedestals out of sight of land and are still operational. Each 7-hour cruise includes narration on Delaware Bay lore and legend, with information on fishing, spawning grounds and more. 

Cruises depart at 10 a.m. from the Miss Chris Marina, 2nd Avenue and Wilson Drive, and include complimentary continental breakfast in the morning and a lavish buffet lunch. A cash bar is available. Free parking is available at the marina. Trip itineraries are subject to change due to weather and sea conditions. The Cape May Whale Watcher reserves the right to cancel, modify or postpone any trip. Partially accessible.

Miss Chris Fishing

The Lady Chris, with Captain Mike Scanlan at the helm and first mate Jim, takes you on a fun family fishing adventure. Departing daily in season at 8am, 1pm and 6pm on half-day fishing excursions, the Lady Chris is the big boat with small crowds, limited to 49 people. Captain Mike believes in fishing for today and the future, and the Lady Chris crew encourages “catch and release” and other sustainable fishing practices. Bait, parking, and fishing instruction are free. You are welcome to bring your favorite fishing rod or you can rent a quality rod and reel aboard. Bring a small cooler with lunch, or snacks and beverages are available on board for purchase. For information on what lures are working, stop into the Miss Chris Tackle shop, where you can also purchase tackle and bait.

Sunset Lighthouse Cruise

The beauty of the  lighthouses of Delaware Bay is best experienced at sunset, and this evening trip lets you view two of them, Cape May and Brandywine Shoal, as they come to life for the evening.  Includes hors d’oeuvres (cash bar available). A stop at each lighthouse for photo opportunities and historic bios is also planned, and you can enjoy dolphin watching along the way. Departs from the Miss Chris Marina.
