Janet is a retired Corporate Technology Executive from the Insurance Industry. Since retirement, Janet worked and volunteered at Cape May MAC as a Physick House Interpreter and Trolley Tour Guide for 14 years until 2021, when she accepted the invitation to join the Cape May MAC Board as Secretary. Janet wrote several of MAC’s successful tours. She served as the Curator of MAC’s 50th Anniversary Exhibit, and is currently the Volunteer Manager its Archiving Project. Janet Serves as the Chair of MAC’s Membership Committee and the 2022 Nominating Committee. She also serves as a member of the DEAI Team, Exhibit Planning Team, the Restoration and Collections Committee and the MAC Tour Training Team. Janet was the recipient of the 2020 MAC Honor Award, as well as the 2020 and 2021 MAC Platinum Volunteer Award and Outstanding Service Award. Janet won the State of New Jersey Governor’s Award for Volunteer Leadership in 2021. Janet is also actively involved in Cape May’s Historic Preservation.
