FULL TIME MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
The maintenance assistant performs routine and preventative maintenance for our three historic sites and six trolleys. Work is inclusive of carpentry, maintenance repairs as well as upkeep of the properties, facilities, equipment, and various utility systems. This position offers both healthcare and paid time off.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
- Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment and commercial machinery.
- Woodworking skills a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- High school diploma or GED.

TROLLEY DRIVERS
(Part-time)
Job Responsibilities:
- Navigate historic Cape May with our guides & guests
- Assist guests in boarding and exiting the trolleys.
Minimum Requirements:
- CDL License
- Excellent driving record

TOUR GUIDES
(Part-time)
Job Responsibilities:
- Present Cape May tours to visitors & guests at the Emlen Physick Estate and on Cape May MAC’s fleet of trolleys
Minimum Requirements:
- Looking for personable and outgoing individuals
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good memorization skills preferred
- Experience in education or history preferred

WORLD WAR II TOWER OBSERVERS & LIGHTHOUSE KEEPERS
(Part-time)
Job Responsibilities:
- Share the maritime & military history of these important towers with Cape May’s visitors & guests
- Sell admission tickets using Cape May MAC’s point-of-sale systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Basic computer skills required
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Experience in education or history preferred
